The Chanel show is always one of the most anticipated. And is that Karl Lagerfeld has been in charge of making each show unforgettable and full of unexpected moments. On previous occasions, the brand has turned the Grand Palais de Paris into an airport terminal, a supermarket and even a space station, and this year was no exception. That is why no one wants to miss a tremendous show. The models walked with very Chanel-style pieces through a stage that could be said to be the most beautiful of the French gardens, with a fountain included.
As it is the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, the pieces of the brand's new collection were made at the height of the moment and with the unmistakable seal of Chanel. The models wore elegant tweed sets and coats, sumptuous flared dresses, appliqués and lace, and flower and tulle headdresses with an air so vintage that surely the same founder of the brand would approve.
Glitter, feathers, skirts with lots of volume and cuts from past decades were also not lacking in this collection without waste that clearly returned the brand to its beginnings. The most striking piece? The wedding dress, a set of pants with a feather tail and a vest-type top with a cape, also made of feathers.
It was this show where Kaia Gerber, the daughter of legendary model Cindy Crawford, made her debut on a Haute Couture catwalk. The young woman paraded in a pastel pink dress with applications and feathers, which made her look like a doll.
To combine the exquisite pieces, Lagerfeld designed original tweed boots and patent leather boots with transparent heels. Without a doubt, a dream collection. Don't you think
