Ted Cruz Likes A Porn Video

The account of Republican Senator Ted Cruz, one of the most conservative members of Congress, on Tuesday gave a like to a two-minute porn video posted by a user identified as @Sexuall Posts.

The lustful two-minute clip briefly appeared on the "like" list of the Cuban-American legislator's account, who later blamed one of his aides for the "mistake" of giving his approval to this type of risque material.

“There are different people on my team who have access to my account. It seems that someone inadvertently touched the like button, "said Cruz, who is married and has two children, in a meeting with the press. "When we discovered the post, which I think was an hour or two later, we downloaded it."

He insisted that it was not a "deliberate" act that lacked malice. "It was a mistake," he stressed.

The appearance of pornography in the senator's account must have left more than one of his faithful sympathizers on the evangelical right breathless. It is not for nothing that the Texas legislator prides himself as one of the most conservative members of the upper house and often mentions his religious beliefs as a guide to his actions.

Needless to say, this "mistake" has been celebrated on the networks by the senator's many detractors, who have taken advantage of making jokes of all kinds with their alleged taste for XXX videos.

Cruz once admitted that he had investigated pornographic material, but as part of his job as paralegal to then Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.

His other known interaction with the sex industry was with his backing in 2007, when he was the Texas state attorney, for a ban on the sale of sex toys. On that occasion, he submitted a 76-page report to a federal appeals court to defend a stable law that considers the sale of "dildos, artificial vaginas and other obscene devices" to be illegal and highlighted in his argument that there is no right to "masturbation"."

The Pornhub website identified porn actress Corey Chase as the protagonist of the video to which Cruz's account gave the like, according to the Daily News newspaper, which also recalled that the Texan politician attacked his rival Marco Rubio in the Republican presidential primaries for having used an actress who had made erotic films in a video of her campaign.
