For a few weeks, strong rumors pointed out that the relationship between Saúl El Canelo Álvarez and Shannon de Lima had ended. That could be true, after hearing the boxer's recent remarks when questioned about Marc Anthony's ex-wife.

"I am always in love with what is happening around me and that is the most important thing," Álvarez warned the American television program El Gordo y la Flaca (Univisión). "I do not depend on anything else, more than me, what is on my mind."

What started as a passionate romance, it seemed, was quickly fading. First, De Lima was seen having fun alone with friends, while the boxer attended to other work commitments. Later, some media reported that El Canelo's discomfort was evident when the model tried to stand out above him at public events.

Finally, it was mentioned that the boxer was already appearing at solo meetings. In fact, the model seems to have erased the champion from her life and for more than a month, her photos on Instagram seem to show the activities of a completely single woman.

So far, Shannon de Lima has not spoken on the matter.

Meanwhile, Saúl El Canelo Álvarez is dedicated to his training with a view to his next fight against the Russian Gennady Golovtin, which will take place on September 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The last match of the Mexican boxer was against Julio César Chávez junior, whom he beat by unanimous decision of the judges.
