The more than 14 million people who follow Carmen Villalobos on Instagram know that one of the things that characterizes the charismatic Colombian actress is her unconditional love for animals. The protagonist of successful soap operas such as Sin senos si hay paradise and El final del paradise uses her social networks quite frequently to raise her voice against animal abuse and defend the rights of these defenseless and unprotected beings.
The actress, who collaborates in her day to day with different foundations that focus their effort on rescuing animals that are abandoned by their owners and thus give them a second chance, was recently very affected when publicly denouncing through her social networks a serious case of animal abuse that lived days ago in his native Colombia.
While it is true that more and more people are interested in the animal issue, it is also true that there are people who continue mistreating animals and it does not fit in your head. If you do not like animals, they annoy you, they really make you uncomfortable, it is valid that you do not like them, but why harm them, why mistreat them, why abandon them? there is no paradise.
With tears in his eyes, Villalobos detailed the aggression recently suffered by a puppy on the street by a passer-by who violently charged the animal and left him 'nothing back.'
“Two days ago there was a case here near Bogotá of a guy who was passing by and attacked a puppy because, yes, he attacked him and began to hit him and not only began to hit him with his legs and hands, but he also took a stick and He began to hit the dog on the head to such an extent that he gouged out his eyes and not only was that not enough, but he took a pellet gun and blew it up in the dog's head,”the Colombian star reportedly affected. "A lot of people will say no because this fool starts crying for an animal, [but] it does affect me."
The actress regretted that attacks like this against animals are repeated daily and that in most cases the aggressor does not receive any type of punishment.
It is not fair, it is not fair because the people we rescue, who care, who want to give a second chance to animals that have been victims of abuse, neglect, we are there every day in the fight and it is not fair that things like this happen. I do get like this because it is daily that I receive cases, complaints. I follow many foundations, I also do my bit and it is sad that this type of thing continues to happen”, he lamented.
