Away from the world of acting since 2017, Ximena Duque has never felt so much satisfaction in her 35 years of life as now. Focused on her facet as a businesswoman, the Colombian actress is living one of the sweetest moments of her life, both personally and professionally. Owner of her own time after completing her exclusivity contract with the Telemundo network, the wife of Jay Adkins and mother of Luna and Cristán Carabias have found in the business world the financial independence they wanted to have.

“I reinvented myself… A door closed and thousands opened. If you fall get up, if you stumble do not look at the stone that got in your way, remove it and keep going. More than 15 years on television and I have never felt so much satisfaction as now, the satisfaction of helping others is priceless,”acknowledged the 35-year-old interpreter on Instagram.

The actress from successful Telemundo soap operas like La casa de al lado and Corazón valiente is doing so well in her new business that this Wednesday she did not hesitate to proudly boast through social media the luxurious car that she earned thanks to her effort and commitment.

“It is not the car, it is not the luxuries that it can have or the material things that it can acquire. It is the desire and motivation that I feel every day when I get out of bed. I am working for a purpose, I live for a purpose. I am no longer Ximena the exclusive actress of a channel that has to do what they say, today I am Ximena, an independent woman who does and decides what she wants to do with her life,”said the Colombian star.

In addition to the financial independence that her new facet as an entrepreneur brings her, what makes the new Ximena most happy is being able to impact the world in a positive way.

“I earned this car and it makes me happy, but do you know what makes me happier? That the women who are walking with me are going to go for theirs very soon. I am happy to be able to share this process on my social networks and that more women join this movement. The movement to impact the world in a positive way, concluded Duque, who will be participating in People en Español's Powerful Live 2020 event, to be held on March 14 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, and whose registration is still open.
