New York Fashion Week has just ended in which we saw the latest trends that are coming for fall / winter 2019. In addition to clothing, beauty looks played a very important role in completing the look of the models on the catwalks as was the case in the designer Prabal Gurung show. The hair stylist Marco Peña, visited us in our studio to recreate this hairstyle that stood out for being one of the most modern of Fashion Week.

The look, which consisted of creating volume on the top of the head and a wet finish on the sides, is one that would undoubtedly give a cool elegance factor to any outfit you wear. Inspired by the designer's recent South Asian travels, the Nepalese-American designer collection saw many colors, textures, patterns and details inspired by culture such as veranasi brocade. Each model that paraded with these incredible outfits wore the hairstyle in different ways, never perfect, playing with the hair's own texture.

In the video Peña shows that in less than five minutes, using the key products, you can achieve the look without being overwhelmed. Start by combing backwards and then with the TRESemmé Between Washes cream, mold the part of the hair on the sides with the palm of your hands. "You can do it with these types of creams, which are fabulous, you can do it with a little bit of mousse as well or you can do it with gel", the stylist recommended. Then he recommends that you use a fixing lacquer such as TRESemmé's Compressed Micro mist to seal the hairstyle.
