From a very young age Diana Danelys de los Santos, better known as Amara La Negra, showed her artist skills and that is why her mother Ana María Oleaga has always supported her in everything and has served as a guide to make the best decisions in her promising career.. We had the honor of receiving the singer in our studios with her nice mother, who made us laugh a lot and also shared with us some secrets of beauty and style.

“My mom is not necessarily a fashionista, but she does know how to find my style. She knows how to dress me. I don't go shopping. I prefer to give the money to her, and she goes for me,”Amara said in the pleasant conversation. "She's not a very fashionista but she is the one who dressed me."

Her mom not only knows how to dress her, but also how to handle her beautiful afro. Of course, her hair was not always like this since in order to style her best when she was little, Doña Ana resorted to treatments to straighten her hair and make it more manageable.

"There was a time when I smoothed her hair, when she made Sabado Gigante because it was easier, more manageable for stylists," said Doña Ana. "There came a time when the dryer already burned her hair a lot. Even I also burned his ear. One day he said to me, "I don't want any more straightening, I don't want any more blow dryer, I'm going to leave my hair as I have it."
