The Queen Mother sat in the front row to enjoy a show by a new London designer.
There is no doubt that Queen Elizabeth is one of the most photographed women in the world obviously because of her position and legacy, but also because of the striking outfits she always wears when she attends official events. According to what has been published, the queen always wears colorful outfits as a way of being visible in the middle of the crowd and that her security elements can always have her in sight. For whatever reason, the monarch's looks always give a lot to talk about. And it seems that the grandmother of Princes William and Harry is very interested in fashion and new trends. Maybe that's why she didn't think twice about showing up at designer Richard Quinn's show, and of course she chose a very appropriate look for the occasion.
As expected Elizabeth sat in the front row and nothing less than Anna Wintour, who apparently enjoyed her company very much as she was photographed with a big smile. That smile may have also been because he approved of the pastel blue skirt and tweed jacket ensemble her majesty wore.
To combine her trousseau, the queen wore black gloves, matching shoes and a mini bag, as well as a pearl necklace and a silver brooch.
Aside from going to enjoy the show, the queen arrived at the venue to present Quinn with the first Queen Elizabeth II for British Design Award, which will henceforth be awarded each year to an emerging British designer who displays unmatched talent and originality while is making an impact in the community.
"It is a great pleasure to be here at London Fashion Week," said Her Majesty before the present moments before handing the award to the designer. “As a tribute to the industry and as my legacy to all those who have contributed to British fashion, I want to present that award to a new and young talent. I want to thank the British Fashion Council for selecting the first winner, Richard Quinn.”
