Man Abuses His 14-year-old Daughter

A 25-year-old man living in Des Moines, Iowa was arrested and charged with having an incestuous relationship with his 14-year-old daughter whom he made pregnant.

Óscar Alvarez-Flores was arrested this Wednesday after confessing to a detective that he had had sex with a teenage girl knowing that he was her father.

The relationship between father and daughter happened in the family home located at 1600 block of East 23rd Street, in the Fairmont Park neighborhood, according to the local newspaper Des Moines Register.

The subject assures that they 'only' had a sexual encounter - which took place between March and May 2016-, but as a result of that his daughter became pregnant and gave birth to a baby in January 2017. The father was then 22 years old.

The Iowa Department of Human Services conducted an investigation and obtained DNA samples from both the father and the teenager and her child. Tests determined that there was a 99.9999 probability that Alvarez-Flores was the baby's father and that it could not be ruled out as a parent.

The subject was sent to a Polk County cell where he was released the same afternoon with a warning to stay away from schools, parks and places where minors gather.
