Michelle Renaud Talks About Her Pregnancy

Although it was always clear that she wanted to become a mom, it was not until this year that Michelle Renaud felt that it was the right time to bring a child into the world.

"I am old enough and I am with the right man in my life, so I said: 'Now it is time to fulfill my dream of motherhood," the 28-year-old Mexican actress told People en Español.

The pregnancy, however, came earlier than expected. So much so that when Renaud learned about the news three months ago, it was not many days since he had started the recordings of a series.

"If I had known I was pregnant I would not have accepted the project," said Michelle, who a week earlier had gone to a fertility doctor to help her get pregnant with the idea that it was going to be a long process and that, therefore It would give him time to record the entire series before his dream came true.

But, obviously, it was not.

For the actress - who received the news that she would become a mother when she still had three months of intense work ahead of her - it was not easy to combine the recordings with the pregnancy, especially since she had "many symptoms".

“It has been hard for me because I get nauseous every day, there is also vomiting and a headache. Suddenly you are very well and out of nowhere it gives you a dream that you really cannot keep up and my calls are so intense that sometimes I even have a few hours to sleep,”he explained.

Renaud has not been spared the symptoms of pregnancy, but neither have cravings. “It is very strange because suddenly I am very hungry, but I don't feel like eating anything. But, on the other hand, I also suddenly crave many things, like lemon ice cream, boiled potatoes … I have cravings like that for children. I returned to eat what I ate as a child, she stressed.

Despite this, Michelle claims to be enjoying the whole process very much. "It urges me to grow my belly, I want to start feeling it and kick me," she said.

The actress does not yet know the sex of the baby, "but I am excited by both the girl and the boy." However, she does not stop recognizing that if she were a girl it would be something very special for her because her mother - to whom she has always been very close - died two years ago.

"I was the companion and best friend of my mom, it would be very cool now for me to have my partner and my best friend," she said.

Josué Alvarado -his partner- thinks otherwise. "My boyfriend is very excited about the boy because he always says: 'I am going to teach him soccer …' and I don't know why men are so excited about it."

The baby's name? “We have ideas, but the truth is we didn't want to decide until we already knew [sex]. The day the doctor tells us if it is a boy or a girl, that day we will say it is called ".

What Michelle has not been able to resist is to start buying things for the baby.

“My boyfriend tells me not to be ridiculous, to at least wait for me to know the sex. But I am ridiculous and if I see something nice either as a girl or as a boy I buy it. If it's one or the other, I'm going to have to have a little brother because I already have things for a boy and a girl”, he concluded with a laugh.
