Drew Barrymore is that there is no room for happiness for her second pregnancy, and this time she wants to share her emotion with the world.
"During my first pregnancy I never [publicly] talked about it and people harassed me all the time," the 38-year-old actress exclusively tells People. “So, yes, it is a fact, it is true. I tried to keep it a secret as long as possible.”
Barrymore - who after giving birth to her first daughter, Olive, 13 months ago, had expressed her wish to have more children - remembers the moment when her dream of expanding her family with her husband, Will Kopelman, came true.
“When I found out I was pregnant, I was so happy. It feels so chimerical, it's incredible, "she says. "[I feel incredible. That feeling of, 'Here we go again' … And [I feel] blessed. Blessed!"
The He's Just Not That Into You star says she feels lucky to be expecting her second baby: “You are fortunate to be able to do so. It's a miracle. I felt very lucky."
And while celebrating the fact that she will become a mom again, the actress is even happier for her daughter Olive, who will now be an older sister.
"Will and I are so excited, we are both happy, [because] we both wanted Olive to have a little brother," he says. “To some extent, this is really about her. So congratulations Olive!”
And as for her pregnant cravings, the actress admits that she is not depriving herself of anything, especially when it comes to her favorite food.
"Oh God, I'm eating everything! I never get tired of eating Chinese food. It's all I want to eat, "she says. "I am very very happy. Happy and healthy - mentally and physically.”
