The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, is raising eyebrows when describing as "hard" and "inhuman" the maximum security prison to which they have sent Joaquín Guzmán Loera, better known as El Chapo.

During his morning conference with the media in Mexico City, AMLO responded to those who asked him what he thought about what awaits El Chapo after his sentence.

"It is also an unpleasant life to have a family and not be able to see it, to walk at the height of the forest, maybe that is not life," he said. "She is going to be in prison for life, in a hostile prison, tough, inhuman, because it does move."

The Sinaloan kingpin was sentenced to life in prison in Brooklyn Federal Court earlier this week.

This would be the last time he was seen in public because at the end of the hearing the dangerous drug lord - and one of the most wanted men for justice in modern history - went straight to a SUV truck headed for the MacArthur airport from Long Island.

There he boarded a helicopter plane from the Administrative System of Maximum Security Prisons that took him directly to the ADX prison, better known as 'Supermax', in Florence, Colorado.

Incredibly, according to Daily Mail reports, a plan was recently discovered for the drug trafficker to escape. Recall that the boss escaped on two previous occasions from maximum security penalties in Mexico.

"I am very sorry that these cases occur, I do not want anyone to be in jail, no one to be in a hospital, no one to suffer (…)," said the Mexican president in statements reproduced by the local newspaper Reforma. "I hope that this no longer continues to happen, that all Mexicans have the possibility of being happy, without committing illegal acts, without exposing ourselves, without living with the risks that are taken when acting outside the law."

El Chapo's cell, known as "El Alcatraz de las Rocallosas" has 'famous' and very dangerous internal. Like the "Unabomber" Ted Kaczynski; Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the guy who planted explosives in the Boston Marathon; and Zacarías Moussaoui, one of the subjects who planned the attacks of September 11. What a rock!
