Director In Lawsuit With Televisa

The Mexican television company, Televisa, directly identified Gustavo Loza as responsible for the violation perpetrated on Karla Souza. Under that argument, he terminated any labor agreement he had with this director. Given this, the producer also talks about the actions he will take against this company.

“It is something extremely delicate; something that affects me, affects my family, affects my children,”Loza warned the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca). “I am talking to my lawyers right now to take the measures. There could certainly be a lawsuit for moral damage."

The director considers that the company is committing an outrage by "burning me alive on national open television" without having the slightest evidence against him.

"The serious thing about this matter is that a company like Televisa is pointing me out without having done the slightest investigation and, obviously, without even having a right of reply and wondering, when we have a working relationship for more than eight years "He added. "I am not guilty, I did not commit [the crime], I am not that person and I am going to defend myself."

Gustavo Loza explained that he "would like to know" because Karla Souza does not give the name of her aggressor and comes out to disclaim him from all responsibility. Still, she shows her support.

"It is incredible, who is giving the face is me. And the one who doesn't give it is her. It would have to be the other way around, I would have to be hidden in a hole if that were so [guilty],”she mentioned. “I don't judge Karla, I have a lot of affection for her, a lot of respect; I do not understand their procedure. But also if she suffered any harassment, as she mentioned, rape, because it is something tremendous, it is a very serious crime and she will have her reasons for not revealing anything.”
