This is not the first time that a child has been in trouble trying to do homework. But if even the Spanish Royal Academy has to intervene in the case, then the confusion has been something serious. Such is the case of a 7-year-old boy who, by following the instructions of his teacher to the letter, ended up obtaining his total disapproval and, incidentally, intrigued Twitter users.

Through this social network, his father, identified as Ignacio Bárcena, sent a tweet copying the student duty of his son Jaime, which has become a real puzzle for users of that medium.

“Here is a math exercise for my son (7 years old). I think that the teacher has not understood it well”, he wrote with the school assignment that, according to his father, is completely fine.

And apparently he was not alone, as another father copied his six-year-old daughter's homework in a similar situation.

The matter reached the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) because apparently the children were confused due to the use of the word "next" in the instructions, which led the children to believe that they should write the number that follows the one that is already there. written.

Incredibly, the response of the RAE was not very clear either: “As the exercise is written, the natural interpretation is that the numbers are written in numbers. which are cited below."

The mess that this situation has generated does not stop and, just two days after sharing it on the Internet, Bárcena's tweet has already received 85,000 hearts while it has been forwarded more than 47,000 times. And that is that he only has 852 Twitter followers.
