Alejandro Tommasi's relationship with his longtime partner, Óscar Alberto Ruiz, has been peppered with allegations of assault and abuse.

Already in 2015, their relationship was ruined after Ruiz accused the actor of mistreatment. They reconciled, married in Las Vegas and everything seemed to be going smoothly.

Until they returned to the eye of the hurricane due to new accusations of violence.

Ruiz filed a complaint last weekend with the authorities for an alleged assault by Tomassi, after he had accused him of being unfaithful to him.

"I discovered that my husband uses drugs and is unfaithful," Ruiz explained to the Mexican media. “When I confronted him, he kicked me and knocked my teeth out. My whole body is bruised."

Given this, the actor defended himself and assured that I have never "hit or mistreated anyone." In addition, he reported that he has made a judicial complaint to protect himself from the threats of his still husband.

"I have asked the authorities for a restraining order for the death threats that I have recorded, return of a car of my property, official documents, toxicological tests to my attacker. For several years I have been struggling to regain my health and I am not a consumer of drugs or alcohol, "said the actor in a statement.

Tomassi warned that Ruiz suffers from personality problems due to his addictions.

"I can demonstrate that the person who assaults me today has been, sometimes in rehabilitation centers for his addictions, which I have covered with the intention of supporting him," he concluded.
