It turns out that in a routine FDA (Food and Drug Administration) investigation, the organization found asbestos in several of the brand's makeup products, a highly toxic mineral that can cause serious health complications and even some cancers..

Specifically, asbestos was found in the contour palette, shadows, and compact powder. But according to a statement from Claire's, these products have already been removed from the market.

"At Claire's, the safety of our customers is paramount, and we are passionate about the safety and integrity of our products," the company said in the letter. “We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that our products have been tested and that they follow the quality regulations of each country. As a precautionary measure, we have removed the products in question from the market and we will continue to investigate these allegations.”

Customers are being suggested to take them to the store if they bought some of these products so that their money will be returned to them.

In this investigation, some products from the popular Justice store also tested positive for asbestos.
