Daughter Of Lorena Rojas Already Asks About Her Mother

At 4 years old, Luciana, the girl adopted by the late actress Lorena Rojas shortly before losing her battle with cancer in 2015, already asks about her mother. Despite the fact that she was barely a baby when she lived with the one who starred in successful Telemundo soap operas such as The Body of Desire and Other Sins, the younger one knows of the existence of Lorena in her life. This was revealed in a recent interview for the Mexican television program Ventaneando his aunt Marya Rojas, who was in charge of the girl after the death of her sister.

Although Mayra has not spoken directly to the girl about the tragic outcome that her mother had, it was Luciana herself who, seeing old photos on her aunt's mobile phone, learned the truth.

“It would be very cruel of me to tell my 4-year-old girl that her mother is dead. Of course I adapt to what the girl asks. He looks at my phone and starts to check my phone and he finds pictures of Lorena with her baby and says 'who is she?', 'She is my sister', 'and where is she?' 'She is in heaven' [she answers]. She was the one who told me 'she was my other mom, she was the one who changed my diapers'. 'Yes, my love, she is your other mom,'”said Mayra.

“But the moment I'm scolding her 'and you finish your soup and you don't stop at the table until you finish it' she says 'my other mom wouldn't have scolded me'. She rubs herself because this is the only one she has left,”added the Mexican actress, who is an anecdote.

Mayra, who recently participated in the Telemundo Enemigo Intimate superset, acknowledged that these past three years without Lorena have been very complex for her.

"I go to therapy because sometimes you can't do it alone," she told the Ventaneando cameras.

“I cannot deny that something that was unplanned has been complex as a woman and as a human being. I can not deny and tell you 'oh, everything has been pink'. No, the truth is that there have been very distressing moments, there have been moments of great despair,”she assured.

After three long years of bureaucratic procedures, Mayra finally managed to legally adopt the girl, so the minor is already officially Mexican.

“She has always been Mexican by right, nothing but legally had to be recognized. And well it took me a long time. This is indeed a public complaint. Three years with the paperwork with the bureaucracy in this country … and well a lot of time was lost, but well it is over, fortunately we were able to fix all the civil registry as the law marks it and despite the fact that it was very slow, well, the little girl picks up her birth certificate as a Mexican next week,”said Rojas.
