Audrey Nethery is a 6-year-old little girl who rose to fame last year when she performed at a Zumba convention. Audrey was diagnosed at two months old with Diamond-Blackfan Anemia, a rare disorder in which the bone marrow does not produce enough red blood cells. This disease appears in the first year of life and generally those who suffer it can have deformities in the thumbs and other physical problems.
His fame has risen so high that even Selena Gomez herself danced alongside him and shared it on social media. "I finally know this beauty - she is in control of everything," wrote the singer along with a video where she and the little girl are dancing to the song "Love you like a love song".
Audrey changed her life after the gym in the province of Louisville, Kentucky where she took dance classes offered Zumba classes. Her mom posted a video of the little girl on Facebook while taking her class, and automatically the Zumba community invited her to the annual event for him to make a presentation. "When she dances, she is happy and shares a lot of joy," Audrey's mom told the Today Show.
