Selena Gomez went to Instagram to vent to her followers this past weekend. The 24-year-old singer is currently on her Revival tour and posted her feelings following a show in Jakarta, Indonesia, which was the day after her birthday.
"Tonight I felt extremely unauthentic, unconnected to both myself and my music," Gomez wrote. “I've never really felt like my materials, wardrobe or video could define me.
Gomez didn't want fans to misunderstand and made it clear in the photo's caption that she wasn't trying to be “negative about anything” she's done and added, “I'm grateful for every single moment I get here,” while thanking her fans in Indonesia.

A video was posted on Twitter showing Selena get emotional during the concert while introducing the song “Kill Em with Kindess.”
In the video, Gomez tells the crowd, “The next song, before I go home, is a song that's so important to me because I get really frustrated. I get stupid sometimes. I say things that I don't mean, or that come out wrong just because I care so badly. But the thing is, at the end of the day, no war in anger was ever won.”
