Alex Rodriguez dedicated this past weekend to a girl who has his heart and we're not talking about Jennifer Lopez. It's his daughter Ella, who just turned 9 years old. The former baseball player enjoyed some family time celebrating the birthday of his youngest daughter.

For the special occasion, Rodriguez reunited with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis and celebrated their daughter's birthday in Miami, surrounded by friends, an enormous swimming pool, a beautiful cake and a giant piñata.

“#BirthdayGirl,” Alex captioned one of his photos where the birthday girl was accompanied by her friends shortly before blowing out her candles. The former Yankee holds his eldest daughter Natasha smiling in the background while standing next to his ex-wife.

In addition to the photos, J Lo's current boyfriend also published a video where the young party guests go crazy over candy that has failed from a colorful piñata. The proud dad looks over and smiles at the funny moment of the children laughing and screaming.

Lopez spent the Easter holiday with A-Rod and their children in the Caribbean island of the Dominican Republic where she held a concert. It was there that their children got to spend time with each other including both their daughters Emme and Natasha, who seemed to hit it off. The 47-year-old posted a photo of the two smiling on her Instagram page.
