With more than 1.4 million total viewers (P2 +) La reina soy yo has become one of the most watched programs of Hispanic prime time today. The fiction starring Michelle Renaud, Lambda García, Mane de la Parra and Polo Morín has managed to captivate the public with a powerful story of love and revenge, but also with its catchy soundtrack.
The story of Yamelí and company could not be told without songs like 'Predator', 'We are wasting time' or 'Impossible love', which are played every night in the series and have ended up sneaking into the music players of thousands of viewers.
Although in fiction Michelle, Lambda and Polo, among others, interpret these musical themes, the reality is that they are not the ones who sing the songs.
We introduce you to the Colombian artists who lend their voices and talents to the protagonists of the hit Univision TV series La reina soy yo so you can finally put a face on them!
Michelle Renaud- Gelo Arango
Michelle Renaud.
The Colombian singer is the one who dubs Renaud with her voice in La reina soy yo.
"My mom says that I sing since I was born because she saw me everywhere, I hadn't even walked yet and I saw myself humming things," Gelo told a Colombian media months ago.
Although it seems that he has spent his whole life singing reggaeton, the truth is that Arango did not even listen to this musical genre before interpreting the songs of the soap opera.
"It was not like one of my favorite genres or that I listened to at home," he acknowledged.
Gelo has just over 80,000 followers on Instagram.
Lambda García- Alejo Valencia
Lambda García.
In 2014 the Colombian singer was presented in different media in his country as 'the new face of urban music in Colombia'.
Alejo currently combines his passion for music with his university studies.
He has close to 8,000 followers on Instagram.
Morín Polo- David Botero
Morín Polo.
The Colombian artist who dubs Polo is fully dedicated to music.
'We are wasting time' or 'Family' are just some of the catchy songs that the singer and producer performs in the current Univision TV series.
Almost 40 thousand people follow him on Instagram.
Be sure to watch the grand finale of La reina soy yo this Friday on Univision.
