The Tri's player, Héctor Herrera, is back after going through the operating room to have his face operated.
After undergoing a functional aesthetic rhinoplasty and an otoplasty (modification of the ears), the Mexican soccer player issued a statement on Twitter about his state of health and the result of the operations.
“I want to inform you that during these two weeks of vacation I decided to undergo a treatment from which I am already recovered. In order to avoid speculation, I share that, in order to breathe easier to improve my sports performance, I had a functional rhinoplasty; in addition to an otoplasty”, wrote the athlete on Sunday clarifying that his change would be in order to increase his sports performance and physical protection.
Although the player did not share a photograph with the statement, the club he plays for, Porto FC de Portugal, published a video in which Herrera greets fans and announces that he will soon be back. An image also circulated on social networks in which Herrera's face appears next to Jesús Tecatito Corona, in which his new face can be seen.
In addition to the revelation, the midfielder took the opportunity to show his gratitude to the followers. "I thank everyone who takes the time to send their best wishes," said the player from his social networks.
The player's change of look comes after his participation in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. This Sunday, his wife shared an image in which Herrera appears with his new look and enjoying a romantic evening with her.
