Just a couple of weeks after releasing his project Queens of Hearts, its producer and protagonist, Fabiola Guajardo, suffered a mishap that hurt her vocal cords; which put her participation in this project at risk with great care and effort. However, she managed to get ahead and now she takes stock of what happened.
"It was a lot of learning, it was a pretty tough week for me, two weeks after being at my concert at Friends and Family, dress rehearsals," Guajardo told People en Español. “[He felt] a lot of frustration at not being able to communicate; developing other kinds of things, for example, I worked a lot on patience and communicating in different ways."
This conflict developed when the singer suffered from an allergy, coupled with stress and an inadequate vocalization that she thought would not have major consequences. After going through this condition, she became aware of many things.
“Many times you assume that you have your entire instrument. I was not used to not speaking, it had never happened to me; I don't even get hoarse,”he explained. "I learned to highly value my instrument and all my senses, my body, to give respect and the right time to everything."
In spite of everything, Fabiola Guajardo feels empowered to have released this test of life. And now she is preparing to premiere her show. Although she knows that she still has many things to do at a professional level and she already has plans.
“I think that all the sacrifices you make in life for something that you are passionate about and you like so much, and you know that it has an end that is good for you, it is worth it. There were times when I had attempts to speak, because it is very desperate not to be able to speak, but I said 'no, I have to calm down,'”she confessed. “I think I need to try acting in a different language, not just English, I have already done castings in English; but also in another language, Italian, French”.
