Gwen Stefani Joins Revlon

Gwen Stefani always sports superchic outfits and a flawless face. Her platinum mane and red lipstick have become her hallmark of beauty. So it is not surprising that a company like Revlon has summoned it as the brand's image alongside celebrities such as Ciara, Olivia Wilde and Halle Berry.

"Since I was a child I have used makeup as a way of expressing myself," the singer said in a statement. “I am passionate about makeup and how it can show your individuality and creativity. I am very excited to continue to share my love of makeup [now] as a Revlon ambassador.”

This is not the first time that the artist, who has a torrid romance with singer Blake Shelton, has joined a beauty company. In 2015, Stefani, who has repeatedly done her own makeup while on tour, teamed up with Urban Decay to launch a colorful makeup collection that was hugely successful.

As he said in an interview, his love for makeup began when he was very young thanks to a wine red lipstick that his grandmother gave him. But these days the singer has left behind her red lipstick and has chosen to wear a more natural makeup, leaving the eyebrows to be the protagonists.

"It looks more youthful to use the thicker eyebrows, it makes them look cleaner and more retro," he confessed. “If you use only powders you get home and half of the eyebrow is gone. That is a shameful thing”
