The film Dr Seuss' The Grinch in his, Blu-Ray and DVD digital version is coming out soon for sale. With the intention of involving the little ones of the house to participate in fun and productive activities, the journalist and blogger Ana Cristina Enríquez on her blog Mami Glammy has created a delicious recipe for green sauce inspired by the character of Grinch and chose to make it at home, with her two children, Cristina and Guillermo.

Here is the green sauce recipe inspired by Dr Seuss' The Grinch.

Time needed: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

20 tomatillos

1/2 small onion

1/4 cup chopped coriander

1-3 jalapeño peppers

Salt to taste

Juice of one lemon

2 avocados

Cook the tomatillos

Boil the peeled tomatillos on the stove in a saucepan with water

Blend the tomatillos

With a little of the water with which you boiled them put them in the blender.

Add the rest of the ingredients

Add the coriander, raw onion, salt, and lemon juice. For children you can do it without chili.

Decide how hot you want it

You can use 1 to 3 jalapeño peppers.

Dice the avocado

Once the sauce is liquefied, you are going to add them to the sauce.

Add the avocado to the sauce

Take care that the avocado squares do not fall apart.

Prepare the labels to distinguish hot sauce from hot sauce

I divide the sauce in two, one for children and one for adults.

Cool it if you are not going to use it immediately and refrigerate

It is best to consume the freshly made sauce, but if you plan to use it later you can store it in glass jars.
