Russian Couple Accused Of Eating 30 People

Natalia Baksheeva and her husband Dmitry Baksheev, residents of a town near the city of Sochi, were arrested in Russia and are facing allegations of having eaten at least 30 people, reportedly.

Impressive details provided by the investigators in charge of the case revealed that the couple sedated their victims and removed their skin. After murdering them, they consumed parts of their bodies and later froze the remaining fragments.

Apparently, the chilling case was discovered when a cell phone was found on the street with a series of photographs of a man posing next to different parts of bodies, including a selfie with a mutilated hand, according to information revealed by the online site of The Moscow Times.

Additional details shared by The Washington Post add that Baksheeva and Baksheev also reportedly fed the meat of their victims to soldiers at the military academy where the two worked, without the students knowing they were consuming human meat.

After his arrest by the authorities, Baksheev confessed that he and his wife have eaten up at least 30 people in the past 20 years. According to preliminary conclusions, the first murder could have occurred in 1999.

Scary images have been revealed by local media of what is presumed to be the interior of the room where the assassins allegedly lived, in the town of Krasnodar, and where multiple fragments of human bodies were also discovered.

If the couple were found guilty, it would become one of the worst serial murder cases in Russian history.
