David Rodríguez Labault, better known as Sie7e is back. After seven years of absence from the recording studios, the Puerto Rican has just presented his single "CocoMangó", which aired on Wednesday. The single follows from his new album of the same name with a psychedelic reggae cut that goes on sale in December and that comes up in the midst of other good news: that at 41 the singer will become a grandfather.

"Our oldest daughter, Paola is 23 [years old] is now pregnant so we are going to be grandparents," the Puerto Rican explained by telephone from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he currently resides with his wife Jessica and their youngest son. “I'm 41 [years old] so I already joined the group of young grandparents. I'm a grandfather with a black beard, a vegan grandfather is fine!”

The good news happens in the midst of great changes for the family, because according to the artist, after the scourge of the huaracán María in Puerto Rico they decided to go on tour in Latin America, and after stopping in Mexico, Panama and Colombia they settled their residence in the gaucho nation. "It is a year since, without wanting to, we became a family today that has no home," the artist explains freed. "I've been living on Airbnb for a year, everything I have fits in a suitcase."

"Paola is in Puerto Rico with her partner," she explains about Sie7e about the current situation of her first-born. “They are planning everything, Paola's boyfriend is a tremendous boy. Our concern as parents is that one sees them as children,”said the artist with his characteristic honesty. “It was not planned but [it is] a baby that was born out of love, was born in the right circumstances. Thank God everything is in order, "he said to emphasize that the baby is expected in March.

"The news brought this avalanche of love and this good vibe that was mixed with the good energy that already came with the album because the two news were born at the same time," says the singer about everything that is coming now. Among his priorities now is a tour with the new album. “We released the independent album, the response has been so beautiful, I am so happy. I feel like he will bring me 2019 with a tour. I thought 'Grandson or granddaughter is coming, we have to make more songs!'”, He explains enthusiastically.

Meanwhile, the single that was produced and mixed by Sie7e is heard, with additional mixes made at Afro Recording Studio, Buenos Aires by Sie7e and Facundo Jara. Recorded at Anbessa Studios, in Puerto Rico by Benjie Fuentes (keyboard player of the band) and mastered by Alejandro PatiñoMosty ” in Medellín, Colombia.
