Seven years after her last appearance, Carina Ricco decided to return to the small screen with the producer José Alberto Castro in the telenovela Médicos (Televisa).

The widow of the actor Eduardo Palomo gives life in that production to Paz, a mother of a family who is dedicated to her husband and daughter. Nothing far from the life of Ricco, who has been focused on his sons Luca and Fiona. It was they who encouraged her to return to Mexico and her professional career.

Why watch the soap opera Doctors?

You have to see it because they are stories that touch us and reach us all and it is important not to lose sensitivity. How did you get the proposal to participate?

The proposal comes because I return to Mexico in a stable way. And I started to tell people that I was already in the city. For me it is important to be in projects that have a certain quality. José Alberto is a guarantee. So I was happy.

Tell us about your character …

My character is called Paz, she has a very stable marriage, we have a daughter who has just graduated. Despite the years and the time, today many marriages do not survive, however, my character and my husband love each other very much and we are dedicated to our daughter Pamela.

What was it that made you return to Mexico?

A fundamental part has been that my children are older and when the children grow up, because sometimes they notice what the parents have done for them. And my beautiful dwarves told me: "Mom, you have given your life for us, you have given us everything, come back [to act]".

I walked away a lot, I tried to make them short so as not to neglect it, they grow up, they start their adventure in the world and they realize that I left things aside. And they told me, “Mom, you have to go back to the stage. We are great, we are well and we are going to do well. Now is your time, come back. ' Before they were worried that I wasn't leaving, now it's the other way around. And that makes me go back to Mexico. I have always moved between Florida and Los Angeles and Mexico, because I thought it was an ideal place to share with the public what I love so much to do.
