Somehow fashion has always been linked to animals and not for the best reasons. We know that millions of animals are slaughtered each year to create bags or leather pieces for which celebrities and society women pay thousands of dollars. Fortunately, times have changed a lot and the culture of sacrificing animals for fashion is no longer a trend. Now beyond sacrificing animals, brands are glorifying them and using their platform to raise awareness about the protection of these amazing living things. That is precisely what the Monse brand is doing in its new campaign.

The prestigious brand created by designers Laura Kim and Fernando García, who in turn are also in charge of creating the new Oscar de la Renta designs, has just launched its new pre-fall 2019 collection and to take photos of the campaign they chose some very special models.

Around 30 New York shelter dogs accompany the models in the spectacular photos that were taken on the streets of the Big Apple. The little ones were chosen from the dozens of homeless dogs from five shelters in that city (Animal Heaven, Best Friends Animal Society, Bideawee, Rescue City, Rescue Dogs Rock and Social Tees Animal Rescue).

With this initiative, the brand expresses its love for animals, especially dogs. Even in each photo of this new campaign that has been uploaded to social networks, they ask their followers to think about adopting a dog from a shelter at these parties and in each image they put all the data of the dog that appears in it as well as the link where they can apply to adopt it.

In addition, Monse created a small collection in collaboration with Disney whose protagonist is none other than Pluto, Mickey's best friend. Best of all, one hundred percent of the proceeds from this collection will go directly to these shelters. That beauty!
