Mexican Carlos Huber, creator of Arquiste perfumes, visited our offices to present his new fragrances, He and She, inspired by a night in Acapulco in 1978, and we took advantage of his presence to submit him to our scent questionnaire.
The perfumer, who named his brand after being the union of his two great passions, architecture and history, is famous for presenting essences that refer us to a specific place and time. For example, his perfume Fleur de Louis transports us to Pheasant Island - on the border between France and Spain - in 1660; or The Architects Club, places us in a smoking club in London in 1930. Olfactory references that are obtained after rigorous research work.
