Six Members Of The La Trilladora Band Die

Just a few days after the tragic death of the Sinaloan singer-songwriter Jorge Valenzuela, the world of Mexican regional music is once again mourning. Six members of the La Trilladora gang from Tuxpan, Jalisco, died this Sunday after the van they were traveling in overturned in the municipality of Zapotiltic, located in the Mexican state of Jalisco.

According to the first information collected by the Mexican press, the vehicle in which the group was moving "fell approximately 10 meters from a small bridge and ended up nailed to the front" after its driver lost control and went off the road, reported ago a few hours the Jalisco daily La Crónica Jalisco.

The strong impact that the truck suffered on the rocky ground also caused at least four other members of the gang to be injured and had to be rushed to the hospital.

The television program El gordo y la flaca (Univision) provided more details of what happened through their Instagram profile and shared some images of the terrible event.

"A fatal accident suffered the members of Banda La Trilladora when the van in which 13 people were traveling crashed into a canal, 6 people died at the moment, the rest were transferred to the hospital, two of them with very serious injuries and also died", it was informed.

The news caused quite a stir on social media, from where hundreds of condolences and grief over the tragedy were shared.
