Outfits From The Desigual Show At New York Fashion Week

New York fashion week started and one of the first shows we attended was that of the fun Spanish brand Desigual, where we found a whole sea of incredible colors and prints that made us wish for spring to come. In the backstage of the show we could see the makeup process and especially the elaborate and original hairstyles that both the models and the dancers who participated in the show wore. Every detail was very well taken care of and the result was truly spectacular.

The person in charge of performing the makeup look for the models was Mayia Alléaume, MAC makeup artist, who created a fresh look that highlighted the cheeks.

“The skin is very light and the focus of attention is the blush. We have different looks for the dancers. For [them] we are doing exaggerated makeup and for the models we are exploring blush more, "said the expert. “I think it is a trend [the blush pronounced] for the season. You have to keep the rest of the makeup very fresh, like a light skin with glow, the eyebrows that are neglected without very strong lines and keep the lips with a natural color, [and] then play with the blush. The best way to apply it is to look in the mirror and smile, and apply it on the highest part."

The hair was also an important part of the show, especially the hairstyles that the dancers wore which were extravagant and very original. Of course, the models were not far behind and wore striking decorations that highlighted their outfits. Aside from the attractive pieces, the collection also featured flirty bags and shoes. In reality, Desigual always surprises with its clothes and the way it presents all its collections. Now all that remains is to wait for next spring to show off the beautiful patterns they offer.
