While the death of a new forgotten child in a daycare van, this time in Florida, continues to cause a stir, the owner of that town gave a press conference at her lawyer's office. There, heartbroken, she asked for forgiveness.

As WPTV reported, Audrey Thornton said yesterday that she deeply regretted the death of the boy Myles Hill. "Sorry," she said, trying futilely to hold back the crying, just hours before the Florida Department of Children and Families issued an order to suspend Little Miracles Academy, which she owns.

"Our hearts are broken from Myles' senseless loss and we will continue to support his family," department secretary Mike Carroll said in a statement. "We are conducting a thorough investigation and we are assisting law enforcement with their criminal investigation."

On Tuesday, more than 100 people gathered to remember Myles in an emotional evening, where his mother described him as a happy boy, who on August 22 would have turned 4 years old, adding that she called him my genius baby, because he knew everything”.

The poor creature died on Monday after being locked in the nursery van for twelve hours. Authorities say he is undergoing an autopsy, but they believe his death was caused by heat from the vehicle. Thorton did not answer questions related to the driver or his daycare's transportation regulations. However, state records show that last month it was not complying with the rules on record keeping in the transportation of children.

Authorities reported that no criminal charges have been filed at this time, as the case is still under investigation and that the van driver has been collaborating fully with them in this process.
